One of the things I think about constantly is design; walking down the road I could be looking at a poster thinking ‘oh… why did they put the font like that?! I think this would have been better’ or sometimes I do be thinking ‘oh… that is great, I never thought about doing it that way that looks so much better’, basically, I feel like design is a thing that I am constantly learning about and I think that it is living proof that creativity is not and will never be limited which is why I appreciate it so much. Admittedly, I wish I could show you a thousand designs that I have thought of from web design, to illustrating but here is something that I am very proud of.
For my Visual Design Fundamentals module I had to design a magazine cover so I decided to do a pop art magazine about music. I did this mostly for my love of my music, I have a lot of vinyl records (like 50-60?) so when I got the opportunity to do this I just had ideas floating everywhere with all sorts of album covers and photos coming into my mind so I experimented with a lot of different ideas and mock ups which I had so much fun doing.

After getting feedback from my lecturers, I then decided to modify some ideas and suddenly I had a theme and colour palette for my magazine so I then went on Adobe InDesign and started making my magazine, still making some minor configurations.
And eventually had a final output.
I had so much fun with this assignment and I think that is show throughout my process and final output. I never was before the biggest fan of photoshop, I always found it confusing and boring but this assignment made me learn that you can do so many fun and creative things with it. It was also my first time using Adobe InDesign which was very difficult at first but I got used to it and learned a lot about illustrating from it.
I don’t think this project was perfect, the page numbers being all over the place still annoy me to this day but, I like to show it because it is very me and it shows my charisma and personality throughout. I think I am as fun and as creative as all my projects showcase which is why I am very proud of them.
